This sounds wonderful. I bet my kids would love it - minus the beer, of course!

I MUST try this soon. I don't normally like flavored nuts because I've tried so many where salt was the primary flavor. But dried habaneros and garlic oil? Yes, please!

When I was kid, my parents used to prepare the similar dish (roasted the peanut-with skin on with sea salt and little oil, the aroma is tremendously good) with some dried cuttlefish (can get this from Asian grocery).
The cuttle fish can be prepared by simply cook on top of the charcoal. Yes, no kidding, just put the dried cuttlefish directly on the hot charcoal and it will curl when cooked. You can shredded the cuttlefish and eat with the nuts.
(Note: Dried cuttle fish is kind of fishy, but some people like it very much just like Japanese likes Natto, thai likes Durian etc)
