Thank you everyone, it's all very touching! She made her first trip out of the house today, to the pediatrician's, who gave her a double thumbs-up on all counts. "Keep doing whatever you're doing" was his only advice! So we're celebrating with a gigantic king bolete mushroom (aka porcini) sauteed with shallots, herbs, and still-warm eggs given to us by our neighbor — more on that later! One early goal: to give her the widest-ranging palate in the universe! With luck there will be NOTHING she won't eat.
