The Breakaway Approach to Better, Easier Cooking

April 23rd, 2008 Posted in Cooking ideas

A few weeks ago a charming writer and editor named Kim Carlson from Culinate contacted me and asked if I would write up a few general rules or tips to make cooking at home more rewarding. The piece is finally up, so please check it out! (along with the rest of the site–there’s a lot of good stuff there)

I love the article and the new link to “culinate”. With both simplicity and extravagant-all-out-from-scratch cooking in mind, I’d like to interject with a little quasi-haiku, master-card style….

Going All Out For a Simple Meal:

600,000 honeybees and a veil // 10 lbs of peanuts and a grinder
Your favorite bread, a spreader, and several friends
    Priceless
